What we use

Self-hosted, privacy-first analytics.

Privian uses Umami, a self-hosted analytics tool, running on our own infrastructure. The Umami script lives at https://ingest.privian.ai/script.js.

What we record per page view:

• The URL path you visited (e.g. /services.html)
• The referring site (e.g. linkedin.com) if any
• Your browser family and OS family (e.g. "Chrome / macOS")
• Country (e.g. "US") — not city, not region, not address
• Whether you scrolled past 25/50/75/100% of the page
• Core Web Vitals timings (page load performance) for the visit
• Any outbound clicks (which external host you went to)

What we do not record:

• No third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag)
• No IP addresses stored
• No cross-site tracking — we cannot tell what other sites you've visited
• No browser fingerprinting
• No advertising identifiers

Cookies we set

One cookie. Just to remember your choice.

The Umami script itself is cookieless. It counts a page view in our database, then discards the request — nothing is written to your browser.

The only cookie this site sets is klaro-consent, written by the consent manager when you click "Accept All", "Reject All", or "Save Choices" in the banner. It's used for one thing only: to remember your decision so we don't show the banner on every page. It expires after 365 days and contains nothing about you personally — just which analytics purposes you allowed.

If you reject analytics in the banner, the Umami script is loaded but stays inert — no events are sent to our server.

Your controls

Change your mind any time.

Open cookie settings  to reopen the consent panel and change your choices.

You can also clear the klaro-consent cookie in your browser's site-data settings — the banner will reappear on your next visit.

Do Not Track

We respect DNT.

If your browser sends the DNT: 1 (Do Not Track) header, Umami's server-side filter drops the request before it's recorded. No additional consent action required from you.

EU / UK / EEA visitors

Strict opt-in.

Visitors from the EU, UK, EEA, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Switzerland see a blocking modal on first visit, with analytics off by default. We don't load the Umami script until you click "Accept All" or enable "Analytics" individually.
